DON’T WAIT FOR OTHERS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT ACTIVE SHOOTER INCIDENTS. IT’S TIME TO TAKE ACTION.

In response to the recent school shootings and interest from parents, advocacy groups, and school administrators throughout Long Island, we are hosting an active shooter seminar for Saturday, April 21st. This seminar covers the techniques and knowledge you need to learn how to survive an active shooter incident. The biggest mistake you could make is assuming you would know what to do on the spot if you are ever caught in such an incident: The vast majority of people do the wrong thing, which can, and for some has cost them their lives.

Only those who are registered in advance will be admitted. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Registration closes at 11:55PM April 20th, 2018. Seminar will take place at our headquarters in Hauppauge, NY.

FAQs:

Does this seminar have drills?

This seminar does not perform an active shooter drill. This is an informative seminar with props used for demonstration. Contact us to learn how we can come to your school, business, hospital, house of worship, venue, and public meeting place to perform active shooter training and drills.

I want to bring my family; Is this seminar appropriate for children?

We encourage you to bring your family! (Please note that family members, such as parents, grandparents, etc., must be registered as well to be able to attend, children between 9-17 are admitted for free.) This seminar does show one video from the University of Texas that simulates an active shooter incident, which shows actors being shot with blanks. We recommend you watch the video and use your discretion on whether it is appropriate for your child. We also use prop weapons that are unloaded. (they use compression to simulate gunfire) Children must be over the age of 9 to be able to attend.

Who teaches this seminar?

Our active shooter seminars are hosted by Radius Investigations’ Licensed Private Investigator Matthew D. Seifer, Subject Matter Expert Don Longo, and Peter Chuchul. These gentlemen have decades of experience in the military, law enforcement, and specialize in matters of security and safety.
